Viessmann ViCare and control: gateways, thermostats and remotes for your boiler or heat pump
A ViCare control system is the set of Viessmann gateway, thermostats and remote controls that regulates heating room by room and operates it from the ViCare app. Here Q-Tech brings together the Viessmann control components for homes with a Vitodens boiler or a Vitocal heat pump.
ViCare components need a gateway: a One Base heat generator with built-in communication module or the Vitoconnect OPTO2.

How to choose your Viessmann control
- By heat generator: with Vitotronic control and Optolink, start with the Vitoconnect OPTO2; with a Vitocal 150-A or 250-A heat pump, the remote is the Vitotrol 300-E or the Vitotrol 100-EH; a One Base heat generator already has the module built in.
- By emitter: for radiators, the ZK03840 head, up to 30 per system; for underfloor heating, the ZK03838 thermostat with one ZK03839 sensor per zone.
- By coverage: the radio reaches up to 14 m through walls; if that is not enough, the plug-in ZK05390 repeater or the ZK05462 flush-mounted on 230 V.

Applications
- Home with a Vitodens boiler and radiators: a ViCare head on each radiator and room-by-room control from your phone.
- Home with a Vitocal heat pump and underfloor heating: ViCare underfloor thermostat with one sensor per zone, or a Vitotrol in the main room.
- Rented flat or home without a Viessmann heat generator: the Vitoconnect OPTO2 acts as the gateway for the ViCare components.

Do I need internet?
Yes, to operate it from the app. The gateway needs a permanent connection; heads, sensors and repeaters communicate with it by radio.
Do ViCare heads work without a Viessmann boiler?
Yes, with the Vitoconnect OPTO2 as the gateway.
How many components can one system take?
Up to 30 radiator heads, according to Viessmann. Each repeater adds up to 24 radio components.
What is the delivery time?
