Shelly water leak detection: flood sensors and a smart shut-off valve
A water leak sensor alerts your phone when it detects water where there should be none and, with a smart valve, it can shut off the water supply to the home. Q-Tech brings together Shelly's leak devices here: two flood sensors, the extension sensing cable and the Neo Smart Water Valve, all with alerts in the Shelly Smart Control app. It is part of Shelly Control.

How to choose
- A single spot, such as under an appliance: the Flood S Gen4, slim and IP67 rated.
- A wide area, such as the floor of a plant room or the length of a pipe: the Flood Gen4 with its 2 m cable, extendable with the Leak Sensor Cable. The cable only works with the Flood Gen4.
- To shut off the water automatically: add the Neo Smart Water Valve on the cold water supply. A plumber connects it and Q-Tech sets it up with the sensors.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a gateway?
No. The sensors and the valve connect to your network over Wi-Fi. The sensors also support Zigbee and Matter.
Do the sensors shut off the water?
Not on their own: they alert your phone and sound an alarm. To shut off the water you need the Neo Smart Water Valve.
Does the valve fit my pipe?
Yes, for ½", ¾" or 1" pipe. The valve is DN25 (1") and for ½" and ¾" we supply it with brass reducers. It is for cold water only.
Shelly or UniFi SuperLink?
Shelly integrates with the rest of your Shelly home automation and can shut off the water with the Neo valve. The UniFi SuperLink Environmental alerts you in UniFi Protect and needs a UniFi SuperLink gateway.
