In the indoor air recirculation version, the Viessmann Vitocal 262-A heat pump uses the air in the room in which it is installed. Part of the heat is extracted from the extracted air and raised to a usable temperature level by the heat pump (up to 65 °C for improved drinking water hygiene). By using it as a dehumidifier/cooler, moisture is removed from the rooms and pollutants are removed. This protects the building structure and improves the air quality in the home.
