Phyn was developed in the laboratories of Washington University and Belkin, and in collaboration with Uponor, a leading manufacturer of plumbing solutions with extensive experience in residential buildings.
It is an intelligent leak detection monitor with automatic cut-off that protects your home from losses, diagnoses problems in the pipes and offers you detailed information, in real time, about the water consumption in your home.
It is managed through an App that allows you to remotely control your PHYN.
Phyn Plus establishes a correspondence between the pressure exerted by the water in each of the outlets in your house, comparing them with those stored in its memory, which includes more than 40,000,000 showers, cistern discharges , filling swimming pools and loading washing machines.
Once installed, Phyn immediately learns about the different sources of consumption in your home, creates a unique profile for each of them and provides you with information on how much water you use. In addition, you will know the behavior of normal use in your home.
Once Phyn has learned your home's plumbing, she will enable the “Auto Shut Off” feature and shut off the water supply in the event of even the smallest leak.
The stainless steel sensor that measures temperature and pressure changes up to 240 times per second. It also has an ultrasonic flow sensor that detects changes of 0.45 liters/minute without moving parts.
