Phyn was developed in the laboratories of the University of Washington and Belkin, and in collaboration with Uponor, a leading manufacturer of plumbing solutions with extensive experience in residential buildings.
It is an intelligent leak detection monitor with automatic shut-off that protects your home from leaks, diagnoses problems in the pipes and offers you detailed information, in real time, on the water consumption in your home.
It is managed through an App that allows you to remotely control your PHYN.
Phyn Plus establishes a correspondence between the pressure exerted by the water in each of the outlets in your home by comparing it with the pressure stored in its memory, which contains more than 40,000,000 showers, cistern flushes, pool fillings and washing machine loads.
Once installed, Phyn immediately learns from the different sources of consumption in your home, creates a unique profile for each one and provides you with information on how much water it uses. In addition, you will learn about the behavior of normal use in your home.
Once Phyn has learned your home’s plumbing, it will enable the “Auto Shut-Off” feature and turn off the water supply in the event of even the smallest leak.
The stainless steel sensor measures temperature and pressure changes up to 240 times per second. It also has an ultrasonic flow sensor that detects changes of 0.45 liters/minute with no moving parts.
