The Y87EU is a family of modern digital room thermostats from Honeywell Resideo available in wired and RF models and capable of operating connected via a Honeywell RFG100 Internet gateway.

Output settings include modulation (OpenTherm(R)) and on/off. Wired OpenTherm(R) models are powered by the OpenTherm(R) bus. The room units of all RF models are powered by 2 AA alkaline batteries. Applications include direct control of the boiler or as a room unit in a multi-zone control system, providing room temperature measurement and setpoint adjustment functions. Compatible zone controllers are Evohome and HCE80 underfloor heating controller.
