Viessmann Vicare underfloor heating control
Vicare underfloor heating thermostat, capable of controlling up to 6 heating zones.
underfloor heating (230 V valve heads) and 3 heads per zone via wireless communication (low power radio frequency). Each zone needs
a climate sensor (wireless room probe), (low power radio frequency). Underfloor heating thermostat for individual room control.
The ViCare underfloor heating control device can only be used with:
- Heat generator with Viessmann One Base.
- Viessmann heat generator with Vitoconnect, e.g. Model OPTO2.
- Vitoconnect, e.g. Model OPTO2 without connection to a Viessmann heat generator.
Communication between the ViCare underfloor heating control unit and the heat generator with Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect takes place via low-frequency radio signals.
Functions:
- The zones of the ViCare underfloor heating control device can be included in individual temperature regulation, which is comfortable and energy-efficient.
- Automatic individual time programs and manual control can also be used for individual temperature regulation.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device has a control contact for heat demand or electromagnetic valve control.
- When operating with the heat generator with Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect, e.g. Model OPTO2, the heat demand is determined automatically and optimally controlled.
Note: At least 1 ViCare climate sensor temperature value is required per heating circuit.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device has an internal anti-freeze protection that prevents the cables from freezing. If the flow temperature drops below 8 °C, the ViCare underfloor heating control device opens until the flow temperature is reached again.
- With protection function for the heating circuits in the event of a communication error with the heat generator using Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect, e.g. Model OPTO2. The heat demand is activated and all valves are regulated to 10%. When communication is re-established, the valves return to normal operation.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device is compatible with operation with 230 V “closed de-energized” thermal servomotors (provided by the installation company).
