ALPHA 2 circulating pump

Grundfos offers the best energy efficiency on the market with its wide range of control modes and simple and accurate hydronic-assisted balancing. The ALPHA 2 Circulator Pump system/kit consists of an ALPHA2 pump, the ALPHA Reader and the Grundfos GO Balance app.

Together, they enable a hydraulic balancing of a two-pipe radiator or underfloor heating system to be carried out extremely accurately and easily. GO Balance will guide you through each step of the process and provide you with documentation, saving you valuable time. ALPHA2 also offers long-lasting reliability even in the most demanding systems.

Alpha Reader for the ALPHA 2 Circulator Pump

The ALPHA Reader is a small (pocket-sized) accessory that attaches to the front of the ALPHA 2 Circulator Pump. It reads the signal from the pump and communicates with the GO Balance System Balancing App via Bluetooth during the balancing process. Once the hydraulic balancing has been performed, the installer can remove the reader from the front of the pump and take it 'with him' for the next job.

Grundfos Go balance APP for system balancing of the ALPHA 2 circulator pump

The Grundfos Go Balance app can be downloaded free of charge from iTunes or Google Play. The app receives the Bluetooth signal from the ALPHA Reader and guides the installer through the entire balancing process in a few simple steps.

GO Balance is the first mobile platform for hydraulic balancing of underfloor and two-pipe heating systems, providing technical documentation, issuing reports and saving time and energy.

The ALPHA2 system, consisting of the circulator, the ALPHA Reader and the Grundfos GO Balance app, enables installers to be prepared for easy and accurate system balancing whether it is an installation with two-pipe radiators or underfloor heating – without ever compromising on reliability, efficiency and easy installation.

The ALPHA 2 circulating pump is suitable for:
