The Grundfos ALPHA2 household circulator pump offers the best energy efficiency on the market with its wide range of control modes and simple and precise assisted hydraulic balancing. The ALPHA2 system consists of an ALPHA2 pump, the ALPHA Reader and the Grundfos GO Balance app.

Together, they allow hydraulic balancing of a two-pipe radiator or underfloor heating system to be carried out in an extremely precise and simple way. GO Balance will guide you through each step of the process and provide you with documentation, saving you valuable time. ALPHA2 also offers long-lasting reliability in even the most demanding systems.

Alpha Reader

The ALPHA Reader is a small (pocket-sized) accessory that is placed on the front of the ALPHA2 pump. It reads the pump signal and communicates with the GO Balance system balancing app via Bluetooth during the balancing process. Once the hydraulic balancing has been carried out, the installer can remove the reader from the front of the pump and take it 'on' for the next job.

Grundfos Go balance APP for system balancing

The Grundfos Go Balance app can be downloaded completely free from iTunes or Google Play. The application receives the Bluetooth signal from the ALPHA Reader and guides the installer through the entire balancing process through a few simple steps.

GO Balance is the first mobile platform for hydraulic balancing of underfloor and two-pipe heating systems, which also provides technical documentation, issues reports and saves time and energy.

The ALPHA2 system, consisting of the circulator, the ALPHA Reader and the Grundfos GO Balance app, allows installers to be prepared for easy and precise balancing of the system, whether an installation with two-pipe radiators or underfloor heating – without compromising at any time on reliability, efficiency and easy installation.
