So, the detector in your bedroom can tell you that there is smoke downstairs, and without having to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Silence App: Silence the detector with your phone, not a cloth. If everything is under control and there is only a little smoke, silence the detector from the Nest app or use the large Nest button.
Alerts on the phone: All family members can be aware of what is happening from anywhere. When there's a problem, Nest Protect sends everyone an alert in case no one is home.
No beeps: Are you tired of your smoke detector waking you up at 2 in the morning to warn you that the batteries are running out? Nest Protect lets you know by sending an alert to your phone long before the warning beep sounds.
Security Check: Check all your detectors with a single tap on your phone screen. Once the test is finished, you will receive a complete report.
Family accounts: All family members can have their own Nest account. There is no need to share login details. You can use your phone to silence and check alarms. Plus, if there's a problem at home, you'll receive alerts on your phone.
