pH dosing systems automatically maintain the ideal pH level of pool water. For the comfort of swimmers, the pool's pH should be kept between 7.2 and 7.4. Below this level, the water is aggressive, and above it, a higher dose of disinfectant is needed to prevent algae growth. How do automatic pH regulators work? The regulator measures the water's pH value using a probe placed in the filtration system that constantly analyzes the pool water. Based on the measured value, the regulator adjusts the pool's pH via its dosing pump by adding liquid corrective product. In this way, the balance of the pool water is always maintained at the desired level without any intervention required.
