The NEW The Viessmann Vitocal 262-A R290 hot water heat pump is the ideal complement to existing heating systems. With its new VitoPearlWhite design, it is also ideal for space-saving installation.

The refrigerant circuit is filled with natural refrigerant R290, whose value GWP100 (global warming potential) of 0.02 is particularly low. This means that the Viessmann Vitocal 262-A R290 heat pump meets the requirements of the European F-gas regulations and guarantees many years of operation.

The Hybrid variant of the Viessmann Vitocal 262-A R290 heat pump (type T2H-R290) is designed for integration into oil, gas, biomass, and district heating systems. It has an integrated heat exchanger and can replace an existing hot water tank so the heating can be turned off during the warm season.

Instead of an electric accumulator, a the electric variant of the Viessmann Vitocal 262-A R290 heat pump (type T2E-R290). It can also be used in combination with a heat pump for heating and enables completely self-sufficient hot water production.

An intelligent control system selects the operating mode between the heat pump and the heat generator, taking into account energy prices and the heat pump's performance values. The Vitocal 262-A preheats the water in the integrated 300-liter storage tank, while the existing heat generator handles reheating if necessary.

The Wall-mounted variant/version of the Viessmann Vitocal 262-A R290 heat pump The space-saving Vitocal 262-A (T2W-R290 type) allows for heating drinking water via an adjacent water heater (160 to 500 litre capacity).

• Model T2H-R290 - Hybrid variant:
  Suitable for various types of heating, it replaces the hot water tank and allows the heating to be turned off during the warmer months.
• Model T2E-R290 - Electric variant:
  It can be used as a replacement for electric storage or in combination with a heat pump for heating to ensure self-sufficient hot water production. Intelligent control: choose between a heat pump and a heat generator based on energy prices and performance values, and uses a built-in 300-liter storage tank for preheating.
  
• Model T2W-R290 - Wall variant/version:
  It saves space and allows the preparation of hot water with an adjacent hot water tank (160 to 500 liters).
