    UniFi Sensors and Alarm

UniFi SuperLink sensors and an alarm built into UniFi Protect

A UniFi SuperLink alarm sensor is a wireless Ubiquiti detector that reports openings, motion, glass break, smoke, carbon monoxide or water in the same app as your cameras. Here Q-Tech brings together both SuperLink gateways, seven sensors and the PoE air quality sensor.

Every SuperLink sensor needs a SuperLink gateway; the air quality sensor does not. Both gateways and the smoke and CO alarm will be available soon.

How to choose your UniFi sensors

    1. Choose the gateway first. Both support up to 96 sensors; the Gateway HA adds LTE and a 2.2 h battery to keep alerting without internet or power, according to Ubiquiti.
    2. Intrusion or household risks. For intrusion, combine opening, motion and glass break sensors; for the home, smoke and CO and water leaks.
    3. Battery or cable. SuperLink sensors run on batteries lasting 3 to 10 years depending on the model; the AirQuality uses PoE. To see what happens, add one of the UniFi cameras.

    Applications

    • Home: opening sensors on doors and windows, motion in hallways and a smoke and CO alarm.
    • Shop with a display window: GlassBreak facing the glass and Gateway HA to keep alerting if the line is cut.
    • School or office: AirQuality in toilets and rooms, and Environmental in the rack room.

    Frequently asked questions

Do I need a gateway for SuperLink sensors?

Yes. Ubiquiti requires a SuperLink Gateway, managed from UniFi Protect on a UniFi console.

How many sensors does a gateway support?

Up to 96 SuperLink sensors, on both the standard and the HA version.

Does the alarm work without internet?

The smoke and CO alarm sounds locally. To receive alerts without the fixed line, the Gateway HA uses LTE.

    What is the delivery time?

Sensors are supplied to order and the gateways and the smoke and CO alarm will be available soon: we confirm the lead time before preparing your order.

Choose your gateway, add the sensors you need and let Q-Tech get your UniFi alarm working with alerts on your phone.
