At Q-TECH, we apply the same clear rules for everyone: the law protects you, and when applied correctly, it protects us as well. By processing your purchase, you accept our General Terms and Conditions of Sale. If you are purchasing as a consumer (B2C), nothing stated herein limits the rights granted to you by mandatory law (RDL 1/2007, TRLGDCU): the 3-year legal warranty of conformity and the right of withdrawal under the terms and with the exceptions legally provided, which are detailed below. References to "B2B" apply only to businesses and professionals.

Your guarantees

  • Rights intact: 14 days of withdrawal from receipt for most products—subject to the legal exceptions you will see below, such as goods made to your specifications—and a 3-year legal warranty of conformity, under the terms of the TRLGDCU.
  • Conformity with the description: we guarantee that the equipment will correspond to the published technical description and what one could reasonably expect from it (arts. 115 et seq. TRLGDCU). Images and videos are for guidance only: the manufacturer may supply a more recent revision of the product or introduce minor aesthetic, packaging, or firmware changes, without this constituting a lack of conformity as long as the described characteristics and performance are maintained.
  • Traceability that also protects you: we document the condition, serial number, and seal of each piece of equipment upon shipment, and we video-record the opening of returns; this is your proof of the condition in which the goods were delivered.

Responsible use and your part

  • If you are thinking of returning it, keep it as you received it: without installing or activating it, with its seals, accessories, and packaging intact. This is how to ensure a full refund, without deductions.
  • Handling that exceeds inspection reduces value: handling the equipment beyond what is necessary to verify its nature and operation may result in a real, assessed, and case-by-case justified deduction (art. 108.2 TRLGDCU), never a fixed percentage. In particular: activating or registering the serial number, linking it to a manufacturer's account or app, circulating water through hydraulic equipment, unsealing probes, or installing software or consumables. Initial inspection of the product does not lead to a deduction.
  • The same item must be returned: withdrawal requires returning the supplied unit. Different equipment, or equipment with prior use, age, or wear prior to purchase, does not constitute a valid withdrawal.
  • Installation and cybersecurity, shared responsibility: this is technical hardware; you are responsible for correct installation, credentials, patches, and backups, while we deliver a compliant product. Q-TECH is not liable for damages resulting from poor installation, incorrect configuration, or omission of patches by the customer or third parties (in B2C, without prejudice to the legal warranty and liability for intent or negligence, arts. 86 and 130 TRLGDCU).
  • Delivery of bulky goods: delivery is made to the curb. B2C: transport risk is ours until physical delivery (art. 66 ter); we recommend noting visible damages on the delivery note and notifying us of breakages within 24-48 hours with photographs to activate the insurance. B2B: inspection and notation on the delivery note are mandatory; hidden damages must be reported within 24 hours (art. 366 CCom). Unjustified rejection or incorrect shipping information will entail the actual outbound and return costs (approx. €85-550 for heavy machinery).

Made to your measure (Advanced Pre-Assembly)

  • If your order includes equipment, racks, hydraulic assemblies, or technical rooms made or configured according to your specifications (permanent joints, custom cuts or wiring, parameterization, pressure testing), these are custom goods without the right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract (art. 103.c TRLGDCU; CJEU Case C-529/19), which is informed before purchasing and documented in the signed Order Note. A test you request without permanent modification retains your right of withdrawal, with only the actual loss of value caused by that test being deducted. Would you prefer to receive it tested, configured, and ready to connect, without assuming these risks? Contract our Advanced Pre-Assembly or the prior technical audit.

If you are purchasing as a business or professional (B2B)

  • The transaction is governed by the Commercial Code: firm sale, without the right of withdrawal; notification of defects within 4 days (apparent) / 30 days (hidden), arts. 336 and 342. Q-TECH acts as a distributor and excludes indirect damages, loss of profit, and data loss, limited to the price of the equipment, without prejudice to the manufacturer's commercial warranty.

What is the Grundfos ALPHA1 GO?

The Grundfos ALPHA1 GO is an electronic circulator pump from Grundfos for heating and air conditioning that runs from 4 W with EEI 0.20. It has a built-in frequency converter. It fits into the circuit pipework with a threaded connection.

Grundfos ALPHA1 GO features

  • Guided replacement: in the GO Replace function of the Grundfos GO app, you enter the old pump's details. The app gives the settings for the new one.
  • Self-venting and dry-running protection: the pump stops if it detects that it is running without water.
  • Powerful start: according to Grundfos, the non-magnetic shaft and bearings reduce the risk of blockage from magnetite. If the pump does block, it restarts at maximum torque.
  • Tool-free lever connector, so the cable can be wired away from the pump.
  • Display showing the power the pump is drawing at any moment.

What problem does it solve?

When a boiler circulator fails, the hard part is choosing the right replacement and setting. A different thread or port-to-port length means altering the pipework. The wrong setting can leave rooms without heat or push up electricity use.

The Grundfos ALPHA1 GO cuts that risk in three ways: standard connection sizes, settings the app derives from the old pump, and a display that confirms power use after the swap.

Compatibility and limits

  • Heating and air-conditioning circuits in homes, commercial buildings and district heating.
  • G 1, G 1½ or G 2 thread on the 15, 25 and 32 models: check the unions and port-to-port length of your current pump.
  • Liquid from −10 to 110 °C with ambient up to 55 °C; Grundfos allows 70 °C ambient with the liquid at 75 °C maximum.
  • Maximum pressure 10 bar and enclosure class IP44.
  • Settings are made on the pump itself: the Grundfos GO app tells you which ones, but the Grundfos ALPHA1 GO does not connect to it over Bluetooth.

When this product is not the right choice

  • Domestic hot water recirculation: Grundfos specifies the Grundfos ALPHA1 GO for heating and air conditioning, and its housing is cast iron. For DHW see the Grundfos COMFORT PM or the Grundfos UP-N.
  • If you want to set up the pump from your phone over Bluetooth with AUTOADAPT control: see the Grundfos ALPHA2 GO.
  • If you need assisted hydronic balancing of the system: see the Grundfos ALPHA3.
  • Systems that need more than 8 m of head: see the Grundfos MAGNA1.

Frequently asked questions

Which model do I need?

The one that matches your current pump on three figures. The first number is the thread: 15 is G 1, 25 is G 1½ and 32 is G 2. The second is the maximum head in decimetres and the third, the port-to-port length in millimetres.

Can it replace the built-in pump in my boiler?

Yes, Grundfos designed it to replace integrated UPS circulators, with step-by-step instructions in the app. Before ordering, send us your boiler model and a photo of the current pump's nameplate on WhatsApp.

How does it differ from the Grundfos ALPHA2 GO?

The ALPHA2 GO has Bluetooth and AUTOADAPT control and is set up from your phone. On the Grundfos ALPHA1 GO the app gives the settings and you set them on the pump itself.

Is it suitable for domestic hot water?

That is not the use Grundfos specifies: the Grundfos ALPHA1 GO is designed for heating and air conditioning. For DHW, look at the COMFORT PM and UP-N ranges.

What is the delivery time?

Made to order: we confirm the lead time before preparing your order.

Q-Tech installation and support

For new builds, the Grundfos ALPHA1 GO can arrive already fitted in a pre-assembled plant room, ready to connect. Q-Tech assembles, sets up and tests the plant room in its workshop, with safety and operation tests. Final connection is done by the site installer or Q-Tech, from one working day depending on the type and size of the room. See how it works on Advanced Pre-Assembly and the workshop pre-assembly service.

For systems installed by another company or pump swaps, the first step is a verification visit by the on-site hourly Expert Technician. Outside the province of Málaga it is booked as an on-site working day. To choose a model, book a remote technical call, message us on WhatsApp, or browse more circulator pumps and our contact page.
