An economical power generator with the efficiency and quality level of Viessmann for Hot Water, Heating and Cooling.
The Viessmann Vitocal 100-S split heat pump consists of two independent units: the outdoor unit extracts heat from the ambient air and supplies it to the interior of the home for both heating and domestic hot water. Depending on the operating temperatures, more than 60% of the energy supplied to the home is renewable energy, i.e., solar energy.
Available models of the Viessmann Vitocal 100-S split system heat pump:
- Model AWB-ME-AC: Heating, cooling, and domestic hot water. With integrated electric heating element.
- Model AWB-ME: Heating and domestic hot water only. With integrated electric heating element.
- Model AWB-M: Heating and domestic hot water only. No integrated electric heating element.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the indoor unit can be installed in the basement or pantry of a home, just like any other heating system. The unit comes from the factory equipped with all the necessary components. The outdoor unit can be wall-mounted or placed directly on the ground.

The Viessmann Vitocal 100-S heat pump is available in different variants: as a pure heat pump for heating and hot water production, with an additional cooling function "Active Cooling" to achieve a pleasant temperature in the home during the summer months, and finally, the model with an integrated electric resistance.
Low-consumption technology, designed to operate on self-generated electricity.
The electrical components have exceptionally low power consumption. The high-efficiency circulation pump for the secondary circuit is integrated as standard. Under partial load, the compressor modulates to adapt to the current thermal demand, thus maintaining the desired temperatures for heating, air conditioning, and hot water. In combination with a photovoltaic system, the independently generated electricity can be used to operate a heat pump, consuming only solar energy when available.
Convenient regulation via the internet.
Thanks to Viessmann's free iOS and Android apps and the optional Vitocom 100 LAN1 device, the Viessmann Vitocal 100-S heat pump can be controlled via the Internet.Thanks to the free Vitotrol app, you can control many functions such as temperature regulation or the party service from your smartphone, schedules, DHW charging, solar, etc.

As part of the modernization project, the Viessmann Vitocal 100-S split-type heat pump is ideal for efficient dual-purpose operation. In this case, to cover peak loads, the existing system remains active at particularly low temperatures.

To remotely control the Vitocal 100-S heat pump via your mobile phone using the ViCare App, you will need the VitoConnect 100 interface. You can install it at any time, even after the fact, as it is compatible with all Vitocal units manufactured from 2010 onwards.
