Salt chlorinators have non-soluble electrodes through which the pool water circulates and where chlorine is generated by applying an external source of low-voltage direct current.
Over time, limescale, organic matter, and mineral deposits will form and adhere to the surface of these electrodes, even those of electrochlorinators with polarity reversal capabilities. This will reduce performance and cause the equipment to malfunction. Therefore, cleaning the electrodes will be necessary.
To this end, AstralPool has developed Netcel, a ready-to-use acidic cleaning product specially formulated to remove scale without attacking or degrading the electrodes.

Instructions for use and dosage:
Place the electrodes in a container with the descaling agent, ensuring the plates are completely covered, but not above the cell lid. This prevents the product from directly affecting the screws and nuts on the outermost part. Allow the product to work.
Once the cleaning operation is complete, rinse the electrodes thoroughly with water and reassemble them in the cell.
Attention!
Before starting to clean the electrodes, check the manufacturer's instructions for your saline electrolysis equipment regarding the incompatibility of chemicals for cleaning the cells.
