High reliability thanks to ThermProtect
The new ThermProtect self-limiting temperature prevents overheating when heat demand stagnates and solar radiation is intense. This makes the Vitosol 200-TM also suitable for buildings that are not used year-round, such as schools.
Maximum heat exchange
The collector operates according to the Heatpipe principle, whereby the solar fluid does not flow directly through the tubes. Instead, it vaporizes a fluid in the Heatpipe and transfers the heat by liquefaction through the copper heat exchanger to the solar fluid in the system. This operating mode ensures maximum heat transfer, as well as good operational and maintenance characteristics.
Quick, easy and safe installation
It's not necessary to open the collector box to install the pipes. A retaining cover on the rails prevents the pipes from slipping. In the event of repairs, the "dry" pipe connection allows for quick and easy installation or replacement, even when the system is full.
