Grundfos ALPHA SOLAR circulator for a high-efficiency solar water system.

ALPHA SOLAR is a circulating pump designed for solar thermal systems. It features three constant curve modes, and its speed can also be controlled via a low-voltage PWM signal from a solar charge controller.

The Grundfos ALPHA SOLAR offers very easy installation and low noise levels. This highly efficient and reliable pump is designed to be maintenance-free, featuring durable ceramic bearings and shaft, as well as corrosion-resistant stainless steel components.

Reliable and highly efficient
The PWM signal generates an analog signal using a digital source to control pump speed, performance, and to optimize solar capture and ensure minimal energy consumption.

Easy access
A manual release screw can be accessed from the front of the pump.

Remote problem solving
A dry-run warning is available as a PWM feedback signal.

Easy to use
Very easy installation, low noise level and no maintenance.

Technical characteristics of the Grundfos Alpha solar electronic circulating pump:

- Liquid temperature: +2º to +130ºC to 60ºC ambient temperature / +2º to +110ºC at 70ºC ambient temperature

- Ambient temperature: 0ºC to +70ºC

- Maximum relative air humidity: 95%

- System pressure: Maximum 1.0 MPa (10 bar)

- Minimum inlet pressure: 0.05 MPa (0.50 bar) at 95ºC liquid temperature.
