Manufactured in Switzerland since 1980, the Besgo 5-way valve is a pneumatic valve that automates the cleaning of sand, glass, or AFM® filters efficiently, easily, and safely. Thanks to a higher cleaning speed than traditional 6-way valves, the Besgo 5-way valve guarantees superior results and allows you to maximize the use of your pool while reducing maintenance time.

Operation of Besgo 5-way valves:

The Besgo 5-way valve operates automatically with both water and compressed air. A connection to the water mains or a small air compressor will provide the 3.5 bar required for operation.

To program and activate the solenoid valve, a simple 230V electric controller/timer is sufficient. The solenoid valve receives electrical current and opens; the incoming pressure compresses the spring inside the Besgo valve and initiates the cleaning process. This process lasts as long as desired, as long as the solenoid valve is powered. In the event of a power failure, the Besgo valve automatically returns to its "Filter" position, making it impossible to unintentionally empty the pool.
