Whether the plant is old or new, the SMA EV Charger can be used flexibly and thanks to its fixed charging cable with a type 2 connector, it is compatible with all common electric vehicles.
In combination with SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0, customers can prioritize solar energy to charge their electric vehicles and do it very quickly if they're in a hurry. The device is easily operated via the integrated rotary switch or through the new SMA Energy app.
The function of fast charging It also allows charging almost twice as fast as with other common charging stations. And, thanks to automatic switching between single-phase and three-phase charging modes, it can also make the most of periods with low solar power. During this process, the intelligent system constantly monitors all power-consuming devices and prevents overloading the home's electrical grid.
