The SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is connected to the most important household appliances, the optional battery system, an electric vehicle, and the photovoltaic system, so it knows at all times how much energy is available and where it is needed. With the help of a weather forecast based on internet data and individual settings based on local conditions, it can accurately predict solar irradiation for a few hours, enabling it to supply connected household appliances with cost-effective photovoltaic energy. Thanks to the Sunny Home Manager 2.0's self-learning function, the heat pump starts up exactly when the sun is shining sufficiently, and it is possible to cover the electricity demand with the generated solar energy—and this is just one example.
