The Likitech PressureWave Hydropneumatic Accumulator is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including pressure booster systems, surface and deep well hydropneumatic systems, irrigation, and commercial and industrial applications, to prevent water hammer. It is suitable for systems with variable speed drives and constant pressure.
The PressureWave™ series is constructed with a virgin polypropylene liner and a high-grade, FDA-approved butyl diaphragm. This is secured against the steel tank wall with a compression ring. A bronze air valve, sealed with a plug in the threaded valve, prevents air leaks. Water enters the tank through a patented stainless steel water connection. The diaphragm and liner are reinforced in high-wear areas for long-lasting durability. All internal parts, including the air valve, are rounded to prevent diaphragm perforation under extreme conditions. The water connection provides a double water/air seal, ensuring a leak-free and maintenance-free tank.
The exterior of the PressureWave Likitech Hydropneumatic Accumulator uses almond-colored automotive-grade paint with a two-part polyurethane coating over an epoxy print, offering hundreds of hours of protection from UV rays and saline environments.
