Phyn was developed in the laboratories of the University of Washington and Belkin, and in collaboration with Uponor, a leading manufacturer of plumbing solutions with extensive experience in residential buildings.
It's a smart leak detection monitor with automatic shutoff that protects your home from leaks, diagnoses plumbing problems, and provides you with detailed, real-time information on your home's water consumption.
It is managed through an App that allows you to remotely control your PHYN.
Phyn Plus establishes a correspondence between the water pressure exerted at each of your home's outlets by comparing them with the stored data in its memory, which contains more than 40,000,000 showers, cistern flushes, pool fills, and washing machine loads.
Once installed, Phyn immediately learns about the different sources of water consumption in your home, creates a unique profile for each, and provides you with information on how much water it uses. You'll also understand the behavior of normal usage in your home.
Once Phyn has learned your home's plumbing, it will enable the "Auto Shutoff" feature and turn off the water supply in the event of even the smallest leak.
The stainless steel sensor measures temperature and pressure changes up to 240 times per second. It also features an ultrasonic flow sensor that detects changes of 0.45 liters/minute with no moving parts.
