Salt chlorinators have non-soluble electrodes through which the pool water circulates and where chlorine is generated by applying an external source of low voltage direct current.
Over time, limescale deposits, organic residues and mineral sediments will form and adhere to the surface of these electrodes, even those of electrochlorinators that have polarity change, which will lead to a reduction in performance and poor operation of the equipment. For this reason, it will be necessary to clean the electrodes.
For this purpose, AstralPool has developed Netcel, a ready-to-use acidic cleaning product specially formulated to remove scale without attacking or degrading the electrodes.

Directions for use and dosage:
Place the electrodes in a container with the Descaler so that it completely covers the plates, but without going over the cell cover, to prevent the product from acting directly on the screws and nuts that are on the outermost part. Allow the product to act.
Once the cleaning operation is complete, rinse the electrodes with plenty of water and re-assemble them in the cell.

Before starting to clean the electrodes, check the instructions of the manufacturer of your salt electrolysis equipment regarding the incompatibility of chemical products for cleaning the cells.
