Grundfos COMFORT pumps are specifically designed for hot water systems in single-family and semi-detached homes.
These pumps are fitted with spherical motors. Unlike conventional canned motors, spherical motors do not have a rotating bearing shaft. The stator transmits the magnetic field to the rotor in the water-pumping part of the pump. This pump can only be used in pressurised hot water systems.
The pump part responsible for pumping the water is hermetically separated from the stator by a stainless steel spherical separating element.
