Air pump designed for spas, hot tubs and similar applications that produces bubbles by continuously pumping medium to high volumes of air.
It is also used to remove the filter bed, for example in washing cycles, or where a low airflow is needed.
The pump casing and impeller are made of die-cast aluminum alloy, while the motor shaft is made of stainless steel and has the impeller directly mounted to the shaft and dynamically balanced. The motors, available in 2-pole single-phase or three-phase versions for continuous duty, are manufactured in accordance with IEC 2/3 1988 standards and feature external IP54 protection and Class F insulation.
The pumps can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Additionally, since there is no contact between the moving and stationary parts of the pump, no lubricant or maintenance is required, and there is no wear on parts.
The turbines can operate at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Aggressive, flammable, or explosive gases cannot be used.
