Vicare underfloor heating thermostat, capable of controlling up to 6 zones
Underfloor heating (230V valve heads) and 3 heads per zone via wireless communication (low-power radio frequency). Each zone requires
A climate sensor (wireless room probe), (low power radio frequency). Underfloor heating thermostat for individual room control.
The ViCare underfloor heating control device can only be used with:
- Heat generator with Viessmann One Base.
- Viessmann heat generator with Vitoconnect, e.g. OPTO2 model.
- Vitoconnect, e.g. OPTO2 model without connection to a Viessmann heat generator.
Communication between the ViCare underfloor heating control device and the heat generator with Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect takes place via low radio frequency signals.
- The zones of the ViCare underfloor heating control device can be included in the individual temperature regulation, which is comfortable and energy efficient.
- Individual temperature regulation can also be achieved using automatic individual time programs and manual control.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device has a control contact for heat demand or solenoid valve control.
- When operating with the heat generator with Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect, e.g. OPTO2 model, the heat demand is automatically determined and optimally controlled.
Note: At least one temperature reading from one ViCare climate sensor is required per heating circuit.
The ViCare underfloor heating control unit features internal frost protection to prevent the cables from freezing. If the supply temperature drops below 8°C, the ViCare underfloor heating control unit will open until the supply temperature is reached again.
- With a protection function for the heating circuits in case of a communication failure with the heat generator using Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect, e.g., model OPTO2. The heat demand is activated and all valves are regulated to 10%. When communication is restored, the valves return to normal operation.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device is compatible with operation with 230V thermal servomotors “closed without current” (provided by the installation company).
