Viessmann Vicare thermostatic radiator head ref. ZK03840

The ViCare thermostatic radiator head is a servomotor for individual temperature regulation.

The ViCare thermostatic radiator valve detects the current ambient temperature via an integrated temperature sensor. The ViCare thermostatic radiator valve features internal frost protection to prevent the pipes from freezing. If the ambient temperature drops below approximately 8°C, the ViCare thermostatic radiator valve opens until the temperature reaches at least 8°C again.

With the "window opening detection" function, the thermostatic valve closes automatically to save energy. To prevent the valve from becoming stuck, the ViCare radiator thermostatic head motor opens and closes every 7 days.

Mounting location of the Viessmann ZK03840 Vicare intelligent thermostatic head:

• Assembly only inside enclosed buildings.
• The mounting location must be dry and protected from frost.
• Ensure an ambient temperature between 0 and +40 °C.
• Mounting on the thermostatic valve connection adapter.
• Do not cover the ViCare thermostatic radiator head with furniture or curtains.
