HeatWave™ tanks are the best solution for thermal expansion and hydronic heating systems.
HeatWave™ tanks are built to the same rigorous standards as PressureWave™ and Challenger™ tanks.
They come with a carbon steel connection that incorporates a hex nut for easy installation. Their air chamber, sealed with a bronze air valve and O-ring seal in the cover, will provide many years of leak-free and maintenance-free service. The automotive-grade polyurethane paint finish on an epoxy base withstands the most aggressive environmental conditions anywhere in the world, both indoors and outdoors.
HeatWave™ tanks are tested at various stages of the production line to verify their quality and ensure the structural integrity of each tank. HeatWave™ is designed for use in hydronic systems that use chemicals to prevent overheating and in closed-loop expansion applications where a lack of oxygen or additives prevent corrosion.
It cannot be used in hot water applications for human consumption since it is manufactured without the virgin polypropylene lining, leaving the metal of the tank body in contact with the water.
