It is a compact, all-in-one, fully integrated pressure booster unit designed for pressure boosting in domestic and light commercial applications, such as garden irrigation or pressure boosting in single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments.

The Scala 1 compact pressure group can be installed in three simple steps:

1. Connect the pipes.
2. Prime the pump.
3. Plug the pump connector into the mains and the pump will start.

The Scala 1 compact pressure booster group is a self-priming multistage pump that incorporates all the components of a pressure booster group in a compact composite housing:

• The engine.
• The diaphragm tank.
• The pressure and flow sensor.
• The controller.
• The non-return valve.

Being self-priming, the compact Scala 1 pressure booster pump can draw water from a level below the pump itself. When fully charged, the pump can lift water from a depth of 8 meters in under 5 minutes. This simplifies pump installation and start-up, and provides a more reliable water supply in systems at risk of dry running and leaks in the suction hose or pipes.

The compact Scala 1 pressure group can communicate with the Grundfos GO app via integrated Bluetooth, allowing detailed pump monitoring and numerous customization options, making this pump ideal for any application.

• With Grundfos GO, you can easily configure the Scala 1 compact pressure booster system as a dual system, functioning as a working pump/standby pump or a working pump/auxiliary pump. It's also possible to add an external inlet control and program pump operation using the calendar function.
• The Scala 1 compact pressure group requires no maintenance, but we recommend keeping the pump clean, checking the non-return valves and keeping the ventilation holes free of dust.
