High reliability thanks to ThermProtect
The new ThermProtect self-limiting temperature system prevents overheating when heat demand remains constant and solar radiation is intense. This makes the Vitosol 200-TM suitable even for buildings that are not in use year-round, such as schools.
Maximum heat exchange
The collector operates on the heatpipe principle, whereby the solar fluid does not circulate directly through the tubes. Instead, it vaporizes a fluid within the heatpipe and transfers heat via liquefaction through the copper heat exchanger to the system's solar fluid. This operating method ensures maximum heat transfer, as well as good operating and maintenance characteristics.
Quick, easy and safe installation
It is not necessary to open the collection box to install the pipes. A retaining cap on the rails prevents the pipes from slipping. In case of repairs, the "dry" pipe joint allows for quick and easy installation or replacement, even when the system is full.
