Q-Tech aims to improve and facilitate the implementation of intelligent control systems through simple and low-cost connectivity. In this way, it leverages technological advancements and remote monitoring to enable real-time alerts, monitoring of water conditions and temperatures/flow rates, and thus anticipating cost overruns, operational problems, and more.
Q-Tech chose two connectivity options, a 4G gateway or a RedCap 5G router, optionally with RS485 interface - BACNet support, to equip the Hycleen AS Master unit with robust network connectivity support and remote management capabilities enabled for RMS support.

The Hycleen automation system manages and continuously maintains the hydraulic balancing process in a highly effective and efficient manner. This comprehensive solution combines digital sensors and valves connected to a central master unit. The control device automatically monitors and optimizes hydraulic balancing daily. This innovative system addresses critical facility risk factors and offers remote, cloud-based, and centrally controlled maintenance functions.
As infrastructure ages, the industry is striving to extend the lifespan of equipment while ensuring compatibility with new technologies needed for continuous communication between plants and monitoring centers.
That's right, another often overlooked challenge is reliable remote access and control of these plants. While technological advancements allow technical rooms to operate efficiently, none of them truly make a difference if the systems cannot be accessed and controlled remotely.
Remote access allows for quick, informed decision-making and immediate changes in response to any issues, ensuring continuous and efficient operations even when site access is not possible.
With numerous challenges identified, we strive to upgrade and enhance one of GF's smartest hot water automation systems, Hycleen, with IoT solutions backed by reliable connectivity from routers or the IoT gateway.
