El objetivo es mantener una temperatura constante del agua mezclada para los usuarios, variando la temperatura del agua caliente almacenada. Las válvulas mezcladoras termostáticas también se pueden usar en aplicaciones de calefacción por suelo radiante y en sistemas de energía alternativa, como los sistemas solares y de pellets.
