Vitocal 111-S air-water split heat pump
The Vitocal 111-S split air-water heat pump consists of two independent units: the outdoor unit extracts heat from the ambient air using a refrigerant liquid contained in the unit, thereby raising the temperature of the heating and domestic hot water in the home.
The indoor unit is already factory-equipped with hydraulic components such as the three-way reversing valve, the secondary pump and the heat pump regulator.
Flexible design to take up little space
The Vitocal 111-S heat pump has been designed to take up as little space as possible in the home, so that it can be placed in the kitchen or basement of the house. To do this, it consists of two units: the indoor unit, which includes a 210-litre storage tank, has compact dimensions. This unit is delivered ready-made from the factory with all the necessary connections for quick and easy installation. The outdoor unit can be mounted, for example, on a wall on the façade of the house or independently.
Heat pump for heating and air conditioning
Vitocal 111-S is available in two versions: as a pure heat pump for heating and hot water production, or with the additional "active cooling" function for air conditioning the home in summer.
Highly efficient and low-consumption technology, prepared for photovoltaic energy
The electrical components of the Vitocal 111-S consume very little energy. Take the recirculation pump in the heating circuit as an example. All Vitocal 111-S units are equipped with high-efficiency pump models as standard. In addition, the unit's operation adapts in real time and precisely to the heating needs of the home, so that it stops automatically when the desired temperature is reached. In addition, this heat pump is designed to consume the electricity generated by photovoltaic panels.
Controlling the heat pump via mobile phone
You can optionally connect your Vitocal 111-S heat pump to the Internet with the Vitoconnect interface and control and manage numerous functions of the unit from anywhere and at any time via your mobile phone with the ViCare App, available free of charge for both iOS and Android.
Remote control of heat pump with Vitoconnect 100
To remotely control the Vitocal 111-S heat pump via mobile phone using the ViCare App, you will need the Vitoconnect 100 interface. You can install it at any time, even retrofitting it, as it is compatible with all Vitocal units manufactured from 2010 onwards.
