Grundfos COMFORT pumps are specifically designed for domestic hot water systems in single-family and semi-detached homes.
These pumps incorporate spherical motors. Unlike conventional canned motors, spherical motors do not have a rotating bearing shaft. The stator transmits the magnetic field to the rotor in the water-pumping section. This pump can only be used in pressurized hot water systems.
The part of the pump responsible for pumping the water is hermetically separated from the stator by a spherical stainless steel separator element.
