The Vitocal 060-A is a monobloc heat pump with a 178- and 254-liter storage tank and state-of-the-art regulation for efficient DHW production. The Vitocal 060-A is designed to produce DHW for a household with 3-6 people, depending on the supply profile.

Available models of the Vitocal 060-A:

• T0E-ze version with electric support: integrated soapstone (dry) electric heating element (178l and 254l).
• T0S-ze version with hydraulic support: with integrated hydraulic heat exchanger (coil).
• New model for mounting in a closet: Possibility of operation with outside or inside air.
  • T0E version with a 178-litre capacity of the storage tank, with two-layer Ceraprotect enamel.
  • Little space required:
    • Required room height only 1.70 m
    • Cabinet mounting possible, width < 0.60.
  • Hot and cold water connection facing forward for easy access when mounted in a cabinet.

How does the Viessmann Vitocal 060-A heat pump work?

Operation based on the recirculation of interior air or for intake of exterior air.

In the recirculation version, the Viessmann Vitocal 060-A heat pump uses the air in the room where it is installed, drawing in air and extracting heat from it to supply it to the domestic hot water until the desired temperature is reached. At the same time, the unit extracts humidity from the room, thereby solving many of the problems arising from humidity in buildings and protecting the health of its residents and/or users.

With the help of an outside air adapter, the Viessmann Vitocal 060-A heat pump can also be used with outside air intake. In this case, it will operate efficiently at outside temperatures as low as -5°C. Depending on the duct system used, the Vitocal 060-A heat pump can be installed in rooms with a ceiling height of at least 2 meters.

The Monobloc air-water heat pump extracts heat from the air and transfers it to the DHW circuit.

The Viessmann Vitocal 060-A heat pump, model T0E-ze 060-A, has a factory-integrated electric backup heater. This device variant has been specially designed for the production of A.C.S.without the need for an additional external heat generator (monovalent operation). Available in two capacities: 178 liters (built-in) and 254 liters.

Model T0E-ze 060-A with 254l electric support

The Viessmann Vitocal 060-A heat pump, model T0S 060-A, has an integrated smooth tube-coil heat exchanger. This device variant has been specially designed for the production of A.C.S. by reheating A.C.S. with an external heat generator or solar collectors (maximum 4.6 m2 or 3 m2 opening for flat-panel or evacuated tube solar collectors). Capacity 251 liters.
