Heat pump Vitocal 060-A: Efficient Hot Water Production.
The compact heat pump Vitocal 060-A is equipped with all the components required for efficient production of hot water for a family, such as a 250-liter hot water tank and state-of-the-art regulation in addition to the heat pump module.
The hot water heat pump is optionally available with an integrated spiral tube heat exchanger for heating support with any other equipment, such as a solar energy installation, etc. Additionally, it is specifically designed for optimized use of photovoltaic energy.
The installation of a Vitocal 060-A is recommended for both renovation and new construction projects. It is also the ideal solution when cooling ambient air is necessary, such as in a cellar, pantry or food storage area.
How does the Vitocal 060-A work?
The Vitocal 060-A operates by recirculating indoor air or taking in outside air. In the recirculation version, the Vitocal 060-A uses the air from the room where it is installed, drawing in the air and extracting the temperature to provide it to the hot water until it reaches the desired temperature. At the same time, the device is extracting the humidity from the room, thereby solving many of the problems associated with it in buildings and protecting the health of its residents and/or users.
With the help of an outdoor air adapter, the Vitocal 060-A can also be used by taking in outside air. In that case, it will function efficiently at an outdoor temperature of up to -5°C. Depending on the duct system used, the Vitocal 060-A heat pump can be placed in spaces with a minimum ceiling height of 2 meters.

The Vitocal 060-A, model T0E 060-A, has an integrated electric support resistance from the factory. This device variant has been specially designed for the production of hot water without the need for an additional external heat generator (monovalent operation). It is available in two capacities, 178 liters (built-in) and 254 liters.
Model T0S 060-A
features a smooth-serpentine heat exchanger integrated into its design. This device is specifically designed for producing hot water via the reheating of hot water with an external heat generator or solar energy collectors (maximum of 4.6m2 or 3m2 of flat solar collectors or vacuum tubes). It has a capacity of 251 liters.
