As soon as all energy flows in the home have been detected, the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 takes over the tasks for which it was designed - energy management.
The SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is connected to the most important household appliances, the optional battery system, an electric vehicle and the photovoltaic system, so it always knows how much energy is available and where it is needed. With the help of a weather forecast based on Internet data and individual settings based on local conditions, it can accurately predict solar irradiation for several hours, allowing it to supply the connected household appliances with economical photovoltaic energy. Thanks to the self-learning function of the Sunny Home Manager 2.0, the heat pump is switched on just when the sun is shining sufficiently and the electricity demand can actually be covered with the generated solar energy – and this is just one example.
