Viessmann Vicare Underfloor Heating Control

The ViCare underfloor heating control device can only be used with:
- Heat generator with Viessmann One Base.
- Viessmann heat generator with Vitoconnect, e.g. Model OPTO2.
- Vitoconnect, e.g. OPTO2 model without connection to a Viessmann heat generator.
Communication between the ViCare underfloor heating control device and the heat generator with Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect takes place via low-frequency radio signals.
Functions:
- The ViCare underfloor heating control zones can be individually controlled for comfortable and energy-efficient temperature control.
- Individual automatic time programs and manual control can also be used for individual temperature regulation.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device features a control contact for heat demand or solenoid valve control.
- When operating with the heat generator with Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect, e.g. Model OPTO2, the heat demand is automatically determined and optimally controlled.
Note: At least one temperature value from one ViCare climate sensor is required per heating circuit.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device features internal frost protection that prevents the cables from freezing. If the flow temperature drops below 8°C, the ViCare underfloor heating control device opens until the flow temperature is reached again.
- With heating circuit protection in the event of a communication error with the heat generator using Viessmann One Base or Vitoconnect, e.g., OPTO2 model. The heat demand is activated, and all valves are regulated to 10%. When communication is restored, the valves return to normal operation.
- The ViCare underfloor heating control device is compatible with operation with 230V “closed without current” thermal servomotors (supplied by the installation company).
