Air pump designed for spas, hot tubs and similar applications that produces bubbles by pumping medium to high volumes of air continuously.
It is also used to remove the filter bed, for example in washing cycles, or where a low air flow is required.
The pump casing and impeller are made of die-cast aluminium alloy, while the motor shaft is made of stainless steel and has the impeller directly fitted to the shaft and dynamically balanced. The motors, 2-pole single-phase or three-phase for continuous use, are manufactured in accordance with IEC 2/3 1988 standards, and incorporate external IP54 protection and class F insulation.
The pumps can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Additionally, since there is no contact between the moving and stationary parts of the pump, no lubricant or maintenance is required and there is no wear on parts.
The turbines can operate at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Aggressive, flammable or explosive gases cannot be used.
